2008.01.08－2008.02.20 Fubô — In the Realm of Dye  現代染色の最前線で活躍する8名の作家による作品展「染色の領域‐代謝する普遍と変容‐」が、染・清流館で開催されました。本展に参加した作家は、いずれも独自の染色技法に根ざして、人間存在の本源に関わる問題意識を孕んだ作品を追求し、染色の表現領域を広げようと制作に向き合う作家たちです。「Vol.2 俯望」では、市村冨美夫、田中秀穂、本田昌史、室田泉という、主に型やシルクスクリーンを表現手法とする4人の作家が作品を発表しました。表現形態、地域性、世代が異なる作家たちが、染色の領域という共通する磁場の中で、単に作品を展示するのみならず、互いに対峙し、あるいは共振しあうことで、染色表現の新しい地平を切り開くことをめざした刺激的なセッションとなりました。 |
